publishing denied 553 by FP even though anti-virus & firewall is o

After working the website with FTP for years with FP 2003, I cannot publish
the site. An error message popps up saying "Microsoft Office Frontpage 553
access denied. I use XP Pro and all the same for 14 month except that I had
HDD failure and replaced it all from my back up a few days ago.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
