I have a website with numerous subwebs and specific
permissions within each subweb. When a user tries to
publish from their computer to the web server we receive
this error when it is "processing web updates".
"An error occurred accessing your FrontPage web files.
Authors - if authoring against a web server, please
contact the webmaster for this server's site. Webmasters -
please see the server's system log for more details."
I checked the system log and there is nothing in there
(application, system, and security logs). Does anyone know
what may be causing this? When I publish I do not recieve
any errors??
System Info:
- Web server Windows NT 4.0 SP6a (we have a development
and a production web server)
- FrontPage Server Extensions 2002
- End User publishing software FrontPage 2000
- My publishing software FrontPage 2002 (They have never
had a problem publishing with FP 200 before)
We just built this new development server. The user can
publish to the developemtn site but not production. It
appears that is does publish the files, it just errors out
at the end. Any help will be great.
