Publishing files to Project Server 2002 from Project 2000

Hello NG!

I have a problem with publishing files from Project 2002
Standard to Project Server 2002. After I have published
files with Project 2000 the files is published as a non-
enterprise project. And therefor I can't view it in detail
and I can't edit project details in the Web Access. How do
I go about publishing a file that is a Enterprise project
with MS Project 2000??

Adreas:

Project 2000 isn't Enterprise Aware. You can't publish enterprise projects
with anything less than Project 2002.

Then a problem arises. Because my colleauge who also have
Project 2000 connecting to a Project Server 2002 he can
publish files, and so can I. But his files are viewable in
the web interface, mine aren't because web acces complains
about my project not beeing an enterprise project. What's
the prob?

All my published projects can be seen in Web Access under
the "Projects" tab, but we can't clickt on my published
projects and view them in detail. That's when it complains
about my projects not beeing enterprise projects.

And what is an enterprise project actually?

Andreas:

Where are you storing the project plans? Where is your colleague storing the
project plans?

Definition of an Enterprise Project

An Enterprise Project is a project created when one of two conditions is
true:

1. when created with the Project Professional 2002 client connected to a
Project Server with enterprise features enabled or 2. when imported using
the Import Project to Enterprise Wizard that is available on the Tools menu,
Enterprise Options menu in the Project Professional 2002 client when
connected to a Project Server with enterprise features enabled.

An enterprise project is:

You can't enable enterprise features and allow Project 2000 to publish to
the server.
