You may be running out of web storage space...check with your host and see what your particular hosting package allows.
Can you login to the live site with FP?
If you can't and you're on a linux/unix server, see if you have access to CPanel...this will tell you if you're running out of storage space. You access this with your browser not FP.
Some Windows servers have a similar utility but I'm not sure what it's called.
