The OneNote enhancement I would most like to see is for
"Note Flags Summary" to have a "Publish Results"
function in addition to "Create Summary Page".
In other words I would like to be able to use the "Note
Flag Summary" as a selection mechanism for publishing
pages.
My job requires that I provide reports based on different
task information I store in OneNote. I use flags extensively
to categorize this information but there is not, that I
am aware of, an convenient way to publish a page report
based on note flag selection.
Creating a summary page then publishing it is a different
operation because it creates a page that contains items
that are flagged and not their entire page. Complementary
information that should be in a report often exists on
each page but of course for simplicity, and so that the
"Create Page Summary" function remains meaningful, only
key items are flagged.
Obviously, on a given page, if more than one flag was
selected the page should only be published once.
