Publishing infopath 2007 documents containing code

Hello

Whenever I try to publish Infopath documents containing code, I get a
warning that
the template must be approved by the Administrator of the site
collection before it can be
published.

It asks the name of the site collection and sents it for approval.
However When I login to the sharepoint site, I get no notification
whatsoever about the document to be approved. Where should I check for
it?? I checked the form library but its empty.

Thanks in Advance

Hello again,
This confused me too at first.
However, if you have code in your form you will need to sign it using a test
certificate after publishing it to a folder location on your hard drive. As
far as I can tell, it doesn't put anything into SharePoint in any way; so I
wouldn't even bother trying to publish it to SharePoint as you can't. Using
central admin you need to login as admin and upload the form template after
it's been signed.

Just so you know if you've used Authenticode certs to sign cabs before then
basically it's the same; an XSN file is a cab file with a different
extension. I renamed it to a cab file and signed it and then renamed it
back to XSN; this may not be necessary though.
hope this helps
cheers

Hi Bruce

Thanks for reply... although my problem is solved.
Basically after the uploading the form to the central administration,
you have to enable multiple content types in form library to access it.
This was the point I was missing.
Thanks for telling me about CAB trick. I didnt knew it.

Can you tell me something about .udcx file and the normal connection
stored in the .xsn file. Are there any limitation of connection stored
in the .xsn file with respect to publishing it in the browser ???

Thankx a lot

Hi Madhur,
'fraid I don't know anything about that. I don't think there is a
limitation to the connection, although that said it doesn't like
cross-domain connections I think, haven't tried myself though, just going by
what I've read....
cheers
