Publishing Issues

I have previously designed and published my website with NetObjects

I have decided to re-design my site, starting from scratch, with Publisher. I have worked all weekend to complete the site, but am having real difficulty publishing it, even when following your notes

Only my home page seems to have published and none of the photos or graphics are as they should be. Do I have to publish each page separately. Is there a way I can check what photos or graphics aren't going to publish properly? All seemed fine in the Publisher preview

My server is Unix rather than Windows - will this make a difference

I don't know where to start trying to correct these problems

Many thanks
Beth

Thanks David
I am using 2003 Publisher. My URL is christinenorman.co.uk and I believe that I have uploaded in ftp direct from publisher.

On the URL you will only see the original site, done in NetObjects. Last night, on the one page from publisher that I did manage to load, the template graphics just displayed as the little boxes with x in the corner

Beth,
I believe you will find your other pages in the sub-folder. Check out the
subfolder on your web server, and open each page that ends in .htm, or in
..html

You'll have to create a meta page or links to the sub pages. Publisher does
not create any links to the sub pages.

if she is using the sub-folder, which is what I've asked her.

a meta page?
Navigation amongst the pages in the site can be done automatically by
Publisher if the nav bar wizard is turned on and used. Otherwise the links
have to be built manually in either text or graphics.

David and Wayne

Thanks for your hel

I looked at the folder issue and was then able to upload straight away. Not quite as straight-forward publishing as Netobject, but I have to say I prefer Publisher overall

Have a great weekend
