Publishing Masterprojects

Hello again,

I've read all the comments on NOT publishing Master projects and, don't
worry, we are not.
What I would like to know is how we get the information from our masterplans
(which are full of comprehensable information) available to our PWA users
(most likely of the executives category). I understand the problems with the
publishing part, but is there a way to get the information through?

Assuming you are not going to publish a master project - which is a good thing

The only way you will get the information to your PWA users is to break the
master project into smaller projects and publish them individually.

I would suggest creating an enterprise project outline code to identify that
the projects are from the same programme or portfolio. Assign the outline
code value to each project and create a view in PWA which groups projects by
that outline code.

The only alternative is to publish as a non-enterprise project. This is not
really recommended ... unless you only want to show tasks, you dont want to
manage resources in this specific plan and you dont want to include this
master project in the portolio analyser - I offer this as an absolute last
resort.
