Ok, I've designed a webpage in Microsoft Publisher. Then I go through the
steps to upload the Publisher files in the correct format to the web:
(1) In Microsoft Publisher, from the File menu, click Publish to the Web.
(2) If a Web host dialog box displays, click OK.
(3) In the Publish to the Web window, from the Save in drop-down list, click
Add/Modify FTP Locations.
(4) In the Name of FTP site text box, enter the fully-qualified domain name
of your hosting site (e.g., "coolexample.com").
(5) Under Log on as, select User and enter your hosting account user name.
(6) In the Password text box, enter your hosting account password.
(7) Click Add to save these settings for future uploads.
(8) Click OK.
(9) From the Save in drop-down list, select the appropriate domain name, and
then click Open. The file structure for your hosting account displays.
(10) Verify that the File name drop-down list value matches the name of your
home page and that the Save as type drop-down list value is Web Page,
Filtered.
(11) Click Save.
I can go out to my hosting manager and see the files but it does not show up
on the website address. I call the customer support for my hosting company
and they tell me I am missing an index.html file.
Does anyone know how I can fix whatever I am missing to complete publishing
my webpage content to my website?
