I am using FrontPage 2002 with Windows XP. I have
previously published my site. Now when I try to publish
some updates to the site I get an error message. First it
says "Accessing HTTP servers requires 32 bit TCP/IP
networking, which is not installed or misconfigured.
Would you like to see help on how to install it?" I
press YES and the Publish Destination window opens up. I
then hit OK and get an error that says "Unable to open
[my domain name]. Server error. Possible causes:
1. The web server may not have FP extensions installed
(they do)
2. Web server may be temporarily out of service (they're
not)
3. If you are connecting through a proxy server the
proxy settings may be incorrect.
4. An error may have occurred in the web server."
I contacted my hosting company and they have no problem
getting into the site using FP2002 and XP. Do I need to
reinstall or reconfigure my TCP/IP? If so how? This is
all a little out of my area of expertise. Any help would
be appreciated.
