Your home page file name must be named the same as that required by your host (index or default w/ am extension of .htm or .html)
- what you are seeing is a directory listing because your home page file name is not named correctly

| I see the folders? when i view my site in my a browser after publishing that
| the problem occurs.
|
| After further investigation it seems that it may be something to do with the
| way the browser? reads my homepage (default.htm? page) .The homepage when
| viewed displays the following:
|
| 20/05/2005 21:16 <dir> buttons_etc
| 20/05/2005 21:16 <dir> carregions
| 20/05/2005 21:16 <dir> nwcars
| ......etc
|
| but when I open one of the above and gain entry into my site, I can surf
| happily around the pages of my site except for the homepage which when
| selected displays the above listing.
|
| thanks again
