Publishing Project as Enterprise Project

I attempted to solve the message below when publishing to an MS Project
Enterprise Server:

"You are trying to publish a non-enterprise project to an enterprise server.
"The security settings on the server do not allow you to publish
non-enterprise projects."

I used MS support docs and /enabled enterprise features under /server
configuration in PWA Admin. From MS Project /Tools/Enterprise options/Import
Projects to Enterprise/ is not highlighted, so I cannot try an import. I am
wondering if this problem is occuring because I do not have an cube built? I
am basically trying to publish enterprise projects to manage resources within
the enterprise features of MS Project Enterprise.

Thx

You need to create a login account in Microsoft Project Professional that
will allow you to connect to Project Server. Refer to the FAQ's for how to
create the appropriate login account:

http://www.projectserverexperts.com/Shared Documents/CreateAdministratorLoginAccount.htm

http://www.projectserverexperts.com/Shared Documents/CreatePMLoginAccount.htm

After creating your login account, close and relaunch Microsoft Project
Professional, and then click the Connect button. You can now import the
non-enterprise project (saved as an .mpp file) into the Project Server
database. Also, given your newness to the software, refer to the following
FAQ for documentation and training on the software:

http://www.projectserverexperts.com/Shared Documents/PS2003Documentation.htm

Hope this helps.

Your feedback helped me in the direction that SQL was not connecting
properly. After re-intalling and re-configuring, I was able to import
projects.

Thx
