Hi,
I'm fairly new to Frontpage-2003, but have been lurking here for a
while.
I have been maintaining a webpage for a for a while, authored with
FP2000, but now upgraded, and I have started using the built in Publish
feature of FP to publish using the FTP method (only method that the
hosting service permits).
The problem I get is that when I open up the ftp panel, connect and it
displays the 2 panels, one for the local files, the second for remote,
when I publish a file local->remote, I've noticed that the timestamp on
the remote server is wrong.
I'm in the Central Time, the server is in Moutain time, but the
timestamp displayed on the remote files is GMT!
This means that the timestamp is 6 hours ahead of the timestamp on the
local file.
Then of course, when using FP later (more then 6 hours), FP flags the
remote version of the file as changed because its timestamp is more
"recent".
Anyone have any ideas how to resolve this.
