Publishing Word Documents to the web via FrontPage

T

Tracie

I am trying to add a series of newsletters that have been created through MS
Word to a web page. I have imported the Word documents to FrontPage and then
added them as hyperlinks on the newsletter page. After I upload the
newsletter page, and click on the link via my web browswer, I now get a
request for a network password and the file freezes totally. Can anyone help
me understand why this is happening?

What version of Word are you using?

Users of Word 2000 must have at least SR-1 and all updates installed to
overcome that bug.

Have you cleared your browser cache since you made the changes?

| Thank you so much for your help. So far I have downloaded all the updates
| and it seems to be working. However, when you hit the back button to
return
| to the main menu of the website the request for a network password still
pops
| up. Somehow, I've managed to get it not to come up before the word
document
| loads.
