Pull cell contents from one wksh to another if condition is met

Need to pull info from wkst 2, column3 and have it in entered in column 5,
wkst 1 only if contents of column 1 match. Any ideas?

In column 5 wkst 1 enter

=sumproduct(--(A1=wkst2!A1:A100),wkst2!C1:C100)

Formula will pull information from column c if cell a1 is withing the A1 to
A100 range in wkst 2

Thanks, helps somewhat. However, there are 1600 rows in wkst 1 and only 215
in wkst 2. I keep getting #ref! error. Any ideas?

Hi Susan,
the range in the formula has to be the same in both sides, in your case from
1 to 1600
