Pull-down in the auto filter?

K

Kim

Hello,
How do I put info in the pull-down in the auto filter?
I tried making a 'filter' but the information isn't showing up
anywhere. I'm sure I've done something wrong.

Please help!

THANKS!

Hi Kim,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

You can't. The Autofilter shows all the range of data in that column. Try
creating your own Filter via Project/Filtered for. To try it out, make a
copy of a filter and give it a new name (hint: name it with AA as the first
letters and it will show up first in the Filter pick list)

You might like to have a look at my series on Microsoft Project in the
TechTrax ezine, particularly #6 which includes filters, at this site:

(Perhaps you'd care to rate the article before leaving the site, :)
Thanks.)

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)
