pulldown menu that open up in another frame

I have a two frame page the left has a pull down menus and the right frame
is the main frame that everything opens in, but not when selected from the
menu.

how can I get it to open in another frame?

Set the target of the link to the name of the right frame, normally "main" under FP.

can not select like I have always done like you suggest,

it is a pull down menu, and only have 'selected' or 'not selected' to choose
from.
