Does Microsoft Office have the ability to put in the
accent marks used in the Spanish Language; the German
oomlaut; and musical notations such as sharps, flats,
treble and bass clefs? Thanks for your help.

Hi Brenda,

There are several ways to insert accents and umlauts. In word you can
use Ctrl + Left Quotation mark (above the Tab key), release the keys
then press the letter you want to insert with a grave accent. For
example: Ctrl + ` then a for: à. For an umlaut press Ctrl + Shift +
Colon :)) then the letter.

You can use Insert/Symbol as well. You could use this method to insert
musical notations provide you have a musical font which should be easy
to obtain if you don't. Many web sites have them available for
download.
