Punctuation Formatting Issues.

I'm pretty sure I pressed a combination of buttons to make this happen. But every time I type a word that ends in "r" like former, biker, racer, etc. and add any form of punctuation after it like a comma, period, etc. there is a space between the "r" and the punctuation. Kind of looks like this:

biker ,

racer .

former )

Does anyone know how to fix this? I'm sure it was a combination of keys I pushed as I'm a writer and a lawyer always in a rush. I thought it was just happening randomly then, I realized it was just with words that end in "r".

Thank You!

I actually figured it out... I don't know if it will mess up my documents from here on out...

I just went to "Preferences" and then "AutoCorrect" and made up a "rule" for it.

However, if anyone knows a better idea, I'm more than willing to listen.

Thank You!

I think you might have been in the right location: it may well have been
AutoCorrect that was doing this.

Instead of making a rule to UN-do it, I suspect you need to "remove" the
rule that is mistakenly doing it. Scroll the list to the "r"s and see if
you have a rogue rule in there that's adding a space after an r.

The other thing you could check is that you are not using a Chinese or
Japanese font. The double-byte fonts have characters that are two
characters wide. Their punctuation characters often look as though there is
a space to the left of them.

To see if it is that, try to delete the space: if you can, it was not a
double-byte character.

Hope this helps

Okay... It worked for a sentence, but it didn't work for any more...
