Punctuation not appearing.

Scott

Hi,

When a user, running word Xp, types the follow 'test' what actually
appears is test and when they entered the second inverted comma (the
first having not appeared) both appear i.e. 'test' appears.
This also happens for speech marks .

Please has anyone encountered and fixed this before.. searching has
not given any answers, others have asked such a question before.

Another example:

User goes to type in "Speech Mark"
What they see, up to typing in the k but not the last speech mark is

Speech Mark

Until they type the second speech mark and then the first appears
giving

"Speech Mark"

Thanks,
Scott.

My guess is that something other than English is set as the default
input language in Start | Control Panel | Regional and Language Settings
| Language | Text Services and Input Languages | Settings.
