I am looking to purchase Office 2000 Pro or Premium and would appreciate if
anyone here has found a real good price anywhere. I want it to be a legal
purchase and I have to admit I hope it will be a bit cheaper because of it
being an older version.

You might try your luck with Ebay. If you want to be reasonably sure of
what you are getting, try buycheapsoftware.com. It won't be all that much
cheaper. Why not just get the current version?

Depends on how you define "good price." Google it and you'll find some
retailers allegedly offering it as low as $149, more at $179-199. Most
likely OEM copies at that price.
