Purchasing Frontpage 2003?

S

I'm very interested in purchasing the 03 version, and
havn't heard of a 2004 version yet. Is 2004 out yet?

I have a little bit of apprehension before purchasing
Frontpage, and am wondering if Frontpage is as user
friendly as Publisher?

I have been using Publisher and am very familiar with it,
but have been hearing from others that new Frontpage
version is much better overall.

I have limited HTML experience and managed nicely with
Publisher's, "click and drop" technology..

Please give your opinion if Frontpage is similar in
comparison to Publisher's user friendly format for a guy
of limited skills.

This will answer my decision to buy or not.

Thank you very much!

Steve,
I used Publisher 97 before updating to FrontPage 98, I now
use FP2000. Although I know the Publisher versions have
improved with more features than in the 97 version, I
wouldn't consider for 1 second going back to Publisher.
Although you will need to probably learn all over how to
function in FP versus Publisher, it will be well worth it
after you learn how to do it.

FP2003 is the latest version of FP and probably will be for the next year or two

If you want to move to the latest version, go ahead and purchase 2003, as
it will be some time before the next version.

Normally you see a rather large lag between versions than one year. 97 to 98
and 2002/Xp to 2003 are the exceptions.
