Purchasing Office 2004?

New to Office and I was looking at purchasing Office 2004 but wanted to know
if a 2005 version is on the way anytime soon. I didn¹t want to fall into the
loop of being just outside the day limit of an upgrade.

Go ahead with your purchase - new Office versions typically take at
least 2 years (Office v.X was an exception - it wasn't so much a new
version as a version of Office 2001 ported to OS X).
