Pure "Read Only"

Without going into macros/VBA, is there any way to
establish an Excel file as pure "Read Only"? Using Tools
Customize, I can drag/remove Save, Save As, Print, etc.
from the basic toolbar. There is, however, nothing to
keep the user from going back into Tools > Customize and
reenabling the Save, Save As, Print, etc. functions back
to one of the toolbars.

Any way to prevent/protect the Save, Save As, and print
functions from being accessed?

Thanks.

Hi

No. Why would you put such important secrets into a spreadshet file and distribute it ?
Don't put ANYTHING confidential into Excel unless you have total control of the storage
medium at all times.
