Good Morning:
I am using Visio 2000 Standard Edition. In the past two
weeks about 25% of the times that I click on "Save", I get
a message with the header HPBF4120.DRV and the
message "Pure Virtual Function Called." I then get the
message that the program will be aborted. The first time
I lost a lot of work. After that, I saved after ever
couple operations. The problem seemed to occur when I
clicked on teh "floppy disk" Save icon. I then found that
I could reduce the nuber of "aborts" by clicking
File|Save. My abort rate dropped to about 10%.
Yesterday -- I hit 100% -- and stopped.
I assumed the HPBF4120.DRV was a HP printer driver. I
cannot find any reference to it on the HP website. I had
also considered that the Visio program might
be "corrupted" and reloaded it. No change in the problem.
I would appreciate any insight someone might be able to
give me.
Thank you.
