Push to a laptop

Hello,
Is there a way to use the Exchange push technology to a laptop running Outlook
2007 ?

I explain further, we have already setup push for our mobile devices, and
now we try to find a way to get our laptop users (Vista/Outlook 2007) syncing
their Outlook with the exchange front-end. I guess I could use the cached-mode
with "download only headers" option but it will force me to setup either
a VPN or I will have to open all these ports Outlook uses to the Internet.
My idea was to use a kind of ActiveSync client for Vista that will allow
the use of our certificate infrastructure to secure the (https) communications.

Any ideas ?

Patrick

If you're using HTTPS, why not just use Outlook Anywhere?

Thank you,
Unfortunatly we are running Exchange 2003, I will have a look on "Windows
RPC over HTTP Proxy" or may be if it is possible an Exchange 2007 front-end
with keeping my Exchange 2003 back-end.

Anyway thanks for the link

No, won't be possible. Mailbox will need to be on a 2k7 box.
