Put Resource in RBS

I'm logged on as Admin, when i go to the resource pool I want to put a new
resource in the correct RBS structure, when I click edit resource the screen
appears with the RBS dropdown but it is grayed out. What I'm I doing wrong.

Did you actually open the Enterprise Resource Pool using Tools - Enterprise
Options - Open Enterprise Resource Pool and then check out the user in
question?

First
I added the resource through Project on my desktop, by opening the enteprise
Resource pool, then clicking open/add and then ' insert' from address book.
I save the resource pool when completed.
Next I log onto project web access and go to the Resource tab. There I
select a resource - and click 'edit' in this case when the window with the
RBS appears it is grayed. there are some resources when I select 'edit' the
window with the RBS let's be change it.

Have you added the values to the RBS custom field yet? The only other
reason I can think it would be grayed out would be it has no value yet.

I do not understand your question about adding the RBS custom field yet, If
you are asking if I set up a RBS structure, yes I did. Please explain
