Put slides together to make a poster

I have a presentation that I would like to put together into a poster then
add some more text (ie - header, abstract). I want to keep all of the
formatting (including text) from the original presentation but also want it
to be edittable.

Is this possible or do I need to start all over again? Every time i try
paste special, it blows all of my text up. If I copy as an image, I lose the
ability to edit the quadrants.

This is not an option at this time as I am using an institutional computer.
Is there any other available method?
