Robin

Does anyone know how to put a number next to but about a
1/2 space lower than the text?

Robin,

You can use subscript (CTRL and the + key will toggle between subscript and
normal script), or you can use character spacing. Enter you number and
select it, press format>font>character spacing>position and enter the value
you want it lowered.

Insert an Advance field

{ADVANCE \d 6}

increase or decrease from 6 to vary the depression.

Doug, is there some reason you prefer an Advance field to either Subscript
font format or Lowered font spacing?
