Putting customers in delivey order

I have my customers grouped in contacts acording to catagory - small, medium
and large. What I need to do is to be able to move customers around within
their groups according to delivery order - which changes each week. I want
to be able to click and drag the customer to their correct order within a
group. I cannot figure out how to do this.

You could prefix the customer's name with their delivery order or use
another field to hold that number

Your problem is that by using the Category Field, you can drag a customer
into two Categories.And that's not what you want.

Make a new Field. eg Order Size.
Group by that field and drag from one group to the other as the situation
changes.

Go to the Contacts Folder. Change to the Phone List View.
Turn on the Advanced Toolbar.
Click the Field Chooser
Make a New Field.
Drag that new field into the table view you are looking at - drop it beside
the existing column headers eg Name.
Enter the data into the "Order Size" field. For one of each type eg 1 small,
1 medium and 1 large.
Turn on the Group By Box.
Drag the "Oredr Size" column header into the Group By box.

Now that you are all set, to move people from no group to the small group,
drag them into that group.
