Putting Labels on Pie Chart

Hello

I can't seem to get labels on my pie chart. I've created an exploded
pie that has six pie sections. I have put a title on the first pie
piece but when I try to put a label on the second pie piece, it
overwrites the title on the first one. What the heck am I doing wrong?
Can someone give me step by step instructions to label all my pie
pieces.

Double click on any piece of pie and select labels, choose what you like.
Second way how to customize is to use text boxes where you put what you
want.

Hi,

Put the labels in a separate column (or row) next to the data column
(or row).
When you create the pie chart, include the cells with the labels in the
data range.
In the "series" tab, make sure that the labels and values are in the
right fields.
If the labels don't show up automatically, do Chart > Chart Options...

Data Labels tab. Show label, or label and percent or whatever you want.

Finally, you may want to drag the labels on to the pie slices. Two
clicks on a label will get you to the drag mode.
