Putting Office XP on a new computer?

E

Ed

I just purchased a new system and want to transfer Office
XP off of my old computer onto the new.
The previous system had Office 98, which we upgraded to
XP, and have since lost the Office 98 disc (we still have
the Office XP upgrade disc though).
How do I go about doing this?

Do you mean Office 97? Office 98 was a Macintosh edition.

You will need the qualifying medium in order to install the Office XP
upgrade on the new computer. Office 97 and Office 2000 are the only
qualifying media.

If you still have the cd-key for your old version, you can contact microsoft
to get a replacement cd.
