putting smaller distribution lists into one large DL

In Outlook HELP, it says "If your e-mail server tells you that your
distribution list is too large to save, you can create smaller distribution
lists and include them in the large distribution list."

How do I do this? When I go to add members to the large list, the smaller
DL's do not show up to add....?

That is the correct method for nesting DL's. If a DL doesn't show up, then
you have not configured your Outlook Address Book correctly. Any valid DL
will appear in the Select Members dialog (not Add Members).
