PWA 2003: Can a requestor see the old value before approving a resource update?

PWA: 2003

After a resource has submitted a requested task update, a message is
sent to the requestor asking for approval.

Is there a way for the requestor to see the old-value before approving
the update in PWA? Or must it be looked at in Project itself?

The only way to know for sure is to compare the update with what you see in
the Microsoft Project plan. If the resource changed the Remaining Work
value, there is no direct way to determine the original Remaining Work
value. Therefore, if the team member changes the Remaining Work, I strongly
recommend that you require the team member to add a note with the following
information:

1. Starting value for Remaining Work
2. New value for the Remaining Work
3. Reason for adjusting the remaining work

Hope this helps.

Thanx, i appreciate the reply.

Is there a way to pull this information into the email? Hmm... or
maybe duplicate the column in the project itself only allow one to be
updated.

Just thinking. Perhaps those questions would be better answer in the
developer group.

As far as I know, no, this is not possible. But it wouldn't hurt to ask the
question the developer newsgroup for a second opinion. Hope this helps.
