Hello,
I have a problem with Analysis Services in PWA 2007. Created a cube
succesfully and tested with no problem - was able to view data through the
MSSQL BI tool. Then I added a parameter (availablility) to the cube through
PWA 2007's GUI (Cube Configuration, Calculated Measures). Built the cube
with no problem and the parameter was calculated. Then I tried to remove the
parameter - the GUI claims that it's gone, but when I try to build the cube,
I the get the following error:
<snip>
Failed to build the OLAP cubes. Error: Analysis Services session failed with
the following error: Failed to process the Analysis Services database
Project_Analysis on the Zoloft server. Error: Server: Operation completed
with 16 problems logged. Parser: The query contains the Availability
parameter, which is not declared.
</snip>
It seems to me that the cube has not removed the parameter somewhere other
than what is presented to the GUI...
Anyone have this same experience? Any thoughts?
Thank you so much!
Scott
