PWA 2007 data analysis EPM/Default data not same

If I look at data with the same criteria, I am missing data in Deafult data,
but it is complete in EPM view. arg, ideas? It appears to have stopped
updating in EPM several weeks ago.

Not sure I follow. Is the data in Data Analysis out of sync with PWA? Check
when the cubes were last built in the Server Settings page. Probably they
stopped building a while back.

Trigger a new build and see if it works. If not, then you'll need to troubleshoot
Project Server and the connection to Analysis Services.

Make sure your date range is capturing the full range of project data and
make sure the cube build is current as of today and that it built
successfully.

Thankx for the reply. I found part of the problem. A resource allowed outlook
add-in to overwrite old timesheets, but another reource appears in EPM
Timesheet, but not Default Data. Cube build is recent and appears fine.

Correction. 2 resource timesheets for last week show in EPM and both do not
appear in Default. I only have 2 resources at this time.

Thankx for the replies. Cube is working. I set the date range for just this
month. 2 tasks, 2 resources, in data analysis, EPM Worksheet has timesheet
data, Data Analysis has none. I'm puzzled.

The main problem was that resources were not importing timesheets. Is there a
way to automatically import or combine the two steps? How can I enforce or
verify the import has been completed? TIA!

Ah, so the issue is that My Timesheets and My Tasks were not in sync. You
could try implenting the Timesheet Tied Mode (http://autostatusservice.codeplex.com/).

To audit compliance, the trick would be to confirm whether or not schedules
were updated properly. I would look at whether or not the PM has published
the project recently, then make sure that the PM's update process was such
that they would notice if time was not being entered in My Tasks.

Awesone, installation went without a problem. I hope I don't sound like an
idiot, but, what next?

If the installation was successful then all future timesheets that get saved
and submitted by the resources will automatically be imported into My Tasks
and submitted to the Status Managers (PMs) for approval. The code basically
does what your resources would normally need to do manually.

Your project status managers will now start seeing pending updates messages
when they open up their project schedules in Project Pro and will need to
accept them into the schedule, re-status their project and then publish the
project to get the latest information out to PWA.

Hope this helps,
