PWA access denied

I am unable to get a user to use PWA.
I setup the access using Active Directory groups and all users that were in
those group are working ok.
I added a new user to on of the groups and logged onto a test PC with that
user and he cannot access PWA.

Anyone any ideas?

Gary, I have the AD sync configured to automatically update but also
initiated a save and synch and checked the last synch datetime stamp as being
after the user was added.
I have also checked that the user is in a PWA group that has PWA access
permissions.
