PWA: actual hours not editable?

Hi folks,

we're running a Project Server 2003 and have a test project saved so far.
Web Access is already implemented and works fine atm.

We plan to use PWA for most of the personel/ressources here but Project 2003
Pro is planned to be used by the project managers.

Now the question:

The ressources can't edit/change the actual work row in PWA. Editable are
the %work done and the total work rows where the calculation of the actual
work is made correctly.

Our personnel don't want to use the %work done as it is easier to track the
hours/work time itself in actual work.

Where have I to change this behavior or is it not possible to change that
for an existing project or in Project Server?

Regards

Frank

Your Project Server administrator needs to change the default method of
tracking progress in Project Server and the lock down the default setting.
You will then need to open each project and click Collaborate - Publish
Republish Assignments.

Thanks Dale, that did the trick.

I've selected that tracking method before but our project manager didn't
like it (now he has to like it).

Now another 'small' problem:

The view of timesheets offers here only the dates like 21.02.2005 (german
notation format) and I'd like to have the weekday shown as well (we're
working with unmanaged timesheet periods, so it might be possible to work
during weekends) in the timesheet views.

Any idea?

Thanks again ..

Frank
