PWA and BLUE Inputs

My team and I had our users enter their time for a couple of plans in PWA.
The time was RED when they entered it.

We don't believe approval has happened. The inputs are now BLUE. Why is
that ?
I can't find anything in the documentation.

Red means it's been entered, blue means it's been submitted to the PM
and after it's been updated to the project schedule, it will be black
again. It is done this way on purpose, so you can tell, at a glance,
what stage the time submittal is at.
