PWA and Emailing

K

Kevin

Hi all, I am extremely new to the whole MS Project and PWA world and have
been asked to investigate the following.

The Project Management Office here seems to think that when a timesheet is
rejected by the timesheet approver, an email is supposed to be sent to the
timewriter informing them.

This doesn't seem to be working.

I have checked the Server Settings in PWA and the email setup seems correct.
I have checked the users in PWA and again, all email addresses appear to be
there... is there any where else I should be looking as to why these emails
aren't being sent?

Thanks in advance,

Kevin

Hi Kevin,

No notification email should be sent to the timesheet writer on th
status of his timesheet. So the behaviour you noticed is actually b
design.

To find the status of the timesheet, the user would have to login in t
PWA and they will notified on its status.
