PWA and Generic Resources: is it possible to plan and track??

Hi all,

I was thinking to use only the generic resources to plan and track...

I was woundering if someone can give me some tips on this situation...

My project manager want to assign task to generic resources... and he
wants to track time against generic (so it can be easy the process of
tracking time...)

I don't need to use the timesheet and I just want to track the time
against the task (possibly in PWA)...

Is it possible to do this??? is it possible to track the generic
resources in PWA???

What about using the Team Assignement Pool????

any suggestion??

Can a generic resource have an assignment owner? When creating a new
resource in PWA the "assignment owner" field is removed from the
screen when you check the "generic" box. Is there another way to set
it?
