PWA - Assign Myself to Existing Task

Ernie Longino

I have an end user, whose drop down list does not populate when he chooses to
"Add Myself to and Exisiting Task" from his PWA Task View. (The resource is
setup as a Team Member and has been added as an Enterprise Resource to
several schedules --- some of which are Administrative and some are not.)

I have verified that the Enterprise Resource is included in the Team Build
for each of the project schedules, but they still do not show up in the afore
mentioned drop down list; although, the resource can view the projects via
the "Projects" tab in PWA.

I have checked everything I can think of on the Project Server side, with no
luck ... (could it be related to a browser setting on the client side???)

We are currently running Project Server 2003 SP2a.

Has anyone else encountered this issue? If so, any help would be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks,

Let me take a stab in the dark. Is the resource in question actually
assigned to any tasks in any of the projects? Let us know.

Dale ... The Assign Myself to a Task Project list (drop down) would not
populate until I assigned him a task from the projects. Once I did so, the
projects show up, but I've never had to do that in the past. It's always
been a matter of simply adding the enterprise resource to the team build; at
which point the resource would see all projects for which they are a team
member.
