PWA Assignment not in plan

Hi,

I have a resource reporting a rogue task in their PWA task view. The task
has purpotedly appeared very recently but does not and has never appeared in
the project plan (yes I know this doesn't sound likely). I have checked the
plan and the task is not there. The PWA task reference relates to a
completely unrelated task with a different resource. I got the PM to
republish all assignments but this made no difference. Any ideas? I'm using
Project Server 2003 SP2
