U
Usman Khan.
Project Web Access crashes whenever I attempt to access a grid in PWA
(Projects screen for example) when connected to a Panasonic projector
(PT-LB20U). It works fine with a plain SVGA Projector.
Client Side:
IBM T42 Laptop
XP- Sp2
Server Side:
Project Server 2003 (sp1)
Project Web Access works without error when not connected to a projector.
Went over the crash information from the Event application log and found:-
Faulting application iexplore.exe, version 6.0.2900.2180, faulting module
pjgrid11.ocx, version 11.1.2004.1707, fault address 0x0007472e.
I have already tried the following,
1) Updating the display driver.
2) Updating MDAC version.
3) Used the video input/ out-put option.
4) Went to IE Tools options - Advanced tab - Unchecked "Enable third party
browser extensions" rebooted computer. no luck.
5) Checked if I had Google or yahoo toolbar.. none.
No luck what so ever.
The only option in which everything works fine without errors is if I boot
the laptop in safe mode. This option disables the advanced display option and
loads the generic driver.
Anyone experienced this before? any suggestions?
Thanks,
Usman.
