PWA + Fully-Qualified Domain, Launching Project

We are testing Project 2007 on our MOSS farm and are getting bit by the
fully-qualified URL issue.

The URLs are the same in Project Pro Settings and in PWA
(rnddev.company.com/pwa), and Project Pro behaves as expected (can publish
projects, get a listing of projects, etc).

The only thing you can't do is launch a project in Project Pro from PWA, and
I suspect it's b/c the domain is fully-qualified.

How do you get around this? Because of the way our Sharepoint farm is set
up we're not going to be able to change the url.

Sure you can change/add a new URL, simply add an Alternative Access Mapping.

Is the FQDN in the trusted site zone in IE ?

And just to clarify the only thing that does not work is launching a project
from PWA. The user can see projects, interact with PWA, and connect to
Project Server from Project using the FQDN. When they try to launch a
project from PWA it cannot find Project Pro on their system (even though it
is installed.
