PWA Gone

Hi, this is strange but urgent!

Live PWA site was working 2 days ago perfectly. Next day we get to the
office and we get a 404, Site not found.

Looks like it just dissapeared.

Despirate. Logged a call with microsoft but they are very slow. Been more
that 24hours...

Where can i start?

Hi,

When i try and restore the SSP that this site is located under i get the
following error:

Object WSS_SSPContent failed in event OnRestore. For more information, see
the error log located in the backup directory. SPException: The restore
operation cannot locate the backup file C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL
Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\NewBackups\Nebula\WSS_SSPContent_backup_200807190400.bak. Verify that the file exists and then run the operation again.

Had a look and the file is there.

This happens for all the PWA DB's

1. Check if the umbrella WSS or MOSS is available. If it is, check the if PS
is visible in the SharePoint administration
2. Check if there is a DNS problem
3. Check IIS settings

Could it be that the account used by SharePoint lost some access rights?
Sounds messy.

Everything works fine except PWA. The Team site, the My sites. Only if you
click on PWA

Are you using PS07?

If you are using MSPS2007, try to re-provision PWA site from SharePoint 3.0
Central Administration. The URL will be something like this
http://[servername here]/ssp/admin/_layouts/managepwa.aspx

Reprovision? Still got a lot to learn. Cant c any thing revering to
provisioning.

What is the chance that the Site collection were deleted with the "Site Use
Confirmation and Deletion" The site do get used on a daily basis.

Secondly what do i need to restore for the PWA to come back up?
