PWA Issues

I have a couple of users who have the following experience from their
PWA homepage:
- click on tasks button: brief flash of task page and homepage
re-displays
- click on projects button: brief flash of projects page and homepage
re-displays
- click on issues or documents buttons: IE freezes up

I have verified they have no odd items installed into IE and that
their IE version is up to date. I have also tried having them
re-download the active-x controls but nothing has resolved these
issues. We are using Project server 2003 SP1; XP Professional SP1;
Project Professional 2003. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

Larry:

Can the users logon to other machines with similar specs? If so, it could be
corrupt user profile on the workstation, in which case you can resolve the
matter by recreating the user profile.

Yes the (2) users are able to log onto other machines and access PWA
properly. We then had those users whose machines they were successful
on, attempt to login to PWA on the problem workstations (creating a
new user profile on those machines) - they had the same issues. I
tried to have them unistall IE, but apparently it will not uninstall
all the way. Any other ideas or suggestions? Has anyone had issues
similar to this?? Thanks!

Larry:

The causes can be very elusive. Is the browser version current? Are there
unique security settings on these machines? Is MDAC current? Just a few of
the possibilities.
