pwa on specific PCs, no project to view.

I have project server installed with Web access. It works fine from most
computers but on three out of the 20 it will not show any of the projects no
matter who is logged in.
message:
"You do not have access to any Project Center views. Contact your server
administrator to get your security permissions changed."

When I go to the other 17 PCs loged in as the same user it works just fine.
what might the missing thing be on those un-cooperative PCs.
Work stations are running XP Pro. IE 6.0 with the latest patches.

Are the 3 PCs joined and logged into the Domain?
Is the PWA URL is added to Trusted Sites on the 3 PCs?
How are the 3 PCs connected in your environment?

Hi Rolly,

The three PCs are connected internally to the network on 100 Base-t
ethernet. They are members of the Windows 2003 domain. The site
http://servername/projectserver is in the trusted sites in IE. security.
The PCs are directly connected to the switch with no routers of firewalls
between them and the server. It is strictly an intranet scenario with 25 pcs
on it.

The actual message in the box flashes on the screen very quickly so it is
tough to read in such a short period of time. it actually says There are no
projects to display in this view.

You either do not have permissions to see any projects in this view or the
projects you have permissions to view have not yet been published.

Neither of these are the case. When I login to the other PCs as the same
user the projects show up. I have given these users admin and project mgr
priveleges in project.

These all sound like server solutions that should effect or solve issues that
occur on all workstations not just 3 out of 20. I will go throuh them anyway
but I have a sinking feeling. I will post the results when I have tried them
in the next day or two.

There are multiple potential causes for this problem, as referenced in the
following KB article:

Let us know what you find as the source of the problem.

Well, I tried all of the methods in Article 810596 to no avail.
It is still not working on the 3 machines but works on all the others
regardless of the user id.

Although not specifically referenced in that article, have you updated the
MDAC on the user's PC's to 2.8?
