PWA- Portfolio Analyser

D

David

In PWA while accessing the Portfolio Analyser getting the
following error:
"Unable to access the Portfolio Analyzer OLAP cube. The
cube may not exist or you have not have permissions to
access the cube".
I have tried accessing the cube as administrator with the
My organisation category added & Portfolio Analyzer views
added to the My Organisation category.
OLAP cube update & Portfolio Analyzer view creation is
working fine only unable to view the Portfolio Analyser
view.
Any help appreciated?
Regards,
David

The most common reason people see this error is that they neglected to
create a cube role and assign resources to it, and also fail to migrate the
analysis repository which can also affect access to cube data. Both of these
steps are described in the installation guide under "After installing
Project Server."

When you access the Portfolio OLAP cube, the PWA will use the credential
that you logon to Window to authenticate against Analysis Service. So,
the user that you logon to Windows have to be a domain user and this
user need to be added to the role/group in the Project Server cube in
Analysis service.

Thanks a lot. It worked fine after I created a cube role
in the Analysis Services.

I have again facing the same error. I have added the
everyone user on the domain as a role in the Analysis
Services. Is it necessary to add any other user?

David.

Did you add the OLAPAdmin account to the new repository database giving it
the DBO role?
