PWA - Quick Launch Issue

I understood the problem, actually from PWA you have two ways to configure
quick launch, from the wss side and from the project server side, only
from the project server side you can create a link to relative link...
from server settings... look and feel... quick launch, from there is
possible create a link to website outside the root. So much time to find
this...

Dear all,
I am trying to add a link to another web application from the quick
launch of the PWA home page, anyway when i click on it the url is not
correct, automatically, WSS 3.0 or Project Server is adding the url of the
PWA to the url that I provided:

example:

PWA URL
http://project.mycompany.lan/projects/

URL THAT I ADD TO THE QUICK LAUNCH MENU
http://intranet.mycompany.lan

URL THAT THE QUICK LAUNCH LINK ACTUALLY USE
http://project.mycompany.lan/projects/http://intranet.mycompany.lan

Ideas???
